Zachary Garbow and David Fowler are the founders of 8aweek, a Y Combinator funded startup. 8aweek is a free tool to help you save time online, by showing you where you spend your time on the web then allowing you to limit your time on distracting sites.
We are now working on a new product, Socialbrowse, which is launched in private beta. Socialbrowse lets you easily share and discover links in real time, then discover what your friends like on any page.
Before moving to Palo Alto, CA for Y Combinator, Zack and Dave were engineers and prolific inventors at IBM in Rochester, MN. They hold over 125 patents combined. Their transition from corporate America to Silicon Valley is documented herein.
